Iona’s work with a variety of craftsmen originally grew out of her on-going personal project ‘Creative Craftsman’/ Iona has worked with a diverse of the UK’s finest craftsmen, and spent time observing and documenting their incredibly meticulous skills, whether that be of a impressionist artist or a skilled woodworker/ Iona combines both intimate portraits, with actions and close-ups, focusing on the details that may go missed to the un-trained eye / Iona has always expressed her excitement of capturing the true character of someone and the ways in which their stories can be told through photography.
